"Also, a favorite convenient inter-dental device are some of the toothpicks that are available now. These work great because you can travel with them. They're perfect to take along in a backpack, in a brief case, in a purse. But especially helpful for after eating meals and you have food lodged between teeth, these are terrific for getting in and again just wiggling back and forward, in and out, you are able to finagle it. With the plastic a lot of times they bend. That bending is very important for that flexibility of getting a filling an area and disrupting exactly where you need for it to fit. Keep in mind again, that there are different widths and different types of shapes. So, you will want to experiment as to which feel best for you, which work for your particular needs. The toothpick with the bristles on it is a favorite of many people because of the fact that it can fill the space, perfect for getting in between and it is also double sided. So, you have a pick side that can also dislodge anything that may be in between. One nice little soft pick are these tapered, soft brushes that are easy to get in between teeth. These work especially well for betting underneath the bridges the I spoke of for people who are difficulties flossing underneath the bridge, these work very nicely because they feel like velvet on the gum tissue. They actually a product that you would want to use. And again, that?s very important. And certainly there are wooden toothpicks. All of these are just basically preferential."
