"Hi. Welcome to facial yoga and this next segment is called, "The Upside Down Face". When we let the body have an inversion, it's a great opportunity for more blood to change direction, and if this feels like it's an inappropriate one for you, then please don't do it. Always talk to your doctor and your physician, make sure that it's an alright activity for your body at this time. But basically, the thought is, you're sort of acting like a kid or it would be a wide, open leg stance, letting the head and the neck really relax. So I will demonstrate to you what it looks like when you're kind of holding the neck, because sometimes we'll get stiffness in the neck. Of course, the neck is really close to the face and that stiffness can come into the face. So this is one way to help alleviate tightness in the neck, the shoulders and, of course, the face. So we just start with taking a wide angle. Then bending down, we find that place where we can let the head move, side to side. I'm moving the head like I'm saying, "yes" and "no". Then I let the head go. I let the head dangle. The neck relaxes completely and there's a very fabulous feeling of release. How long do you stay here? As long as it feels good and maybe three or four more seconds. It feels really good to me so I like staying here quite a lot and I do it often. Just bend the knees, drop the tail bone, roll up slowly, feeling your hips crank under you, and then as if there's a string at the top of the head, gently letting the head and the neck come up. "
