"Hi! This is Dr. Erik Sorbo on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today we’re going to be talking about proper posture and some exercise that you can do to help strengthen your spine, and keep it working the way it should. Now, a second and more challenging way to do the cross crawl exercise would be on the hands and knees. In this position, with a very straight spine, what we will do is raise one arm and the opposite leg. This requires more balance and I recommend trying to keep tension in the abdominal muscles to support the core. Again, hold 5-10 seconds on each side. Take a minute to relax, and repeat on the opposite side. Now, once again this can be done safely 3-5 times on each side, 2-3 times a day. Again, recommending morning and evening as a warm up and a cool down to your day. "
