Video Transcript

"Hi! This is Dr. Erik Sorbo on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today we’re going to be talking about proper posture and some exercises that you can do to help strengthen your spine, and keep it working the way it should. Another simple overall body strengthening exercise you can do is practicing balance on one foot. Now, standing on one foot requires the balance beginning at the ankle, as well as strength in the leg, the trunk, and everything from there up. This requires good control of muscles throughout the body for this balance. Now, the only 2 ways to cheat are to put your foot down or touch the up leg to the down leg. You must stand with the leg slightly away from the down leg, achieving balance in this fashion. "
