"Shingles are called herpes zoster is caused by a virus that attacks the nervous system. In addition to the skin lesion, shingles often occupancies intercostals neuralgia or trigeminal neuralgia and for clinical trials have verified acupuncture can generate effects more easily for herpes, zoster and post herpetic neuralgia at there accurate stage and better results than medication. Therefore for this diseased, it is generally advised to begin acupuncture treatment as early as possible.
