"I wanted to talk to you for a few minutes about vitamin, mineral, enzyme and amino acid supplementation. These are all elements that are required by your body to perform body functions daily and at night and to rebuild your cells for healing. The recommended daily allowance is the daily allowance on the labels that will help you avoid disease. The optimum daily allowance is the allowance that will help you have better health and optimum health. The amounts are not the same on the recommended daily allowance as the optimum daily allowance. Remember the recommended is to prevent things like bery bery and rickets. And the optimum will help you have much better health. Also with water, when you drink one half to one ounce per pound a body weight, unless you're on fluid restrictions, it will help your body function better. It will help you assimilate and digest your food. It will help the waste products pass out of your bowels and your bladder. If you can think of water as having an internal shower. I ask my patients how much water they drink? And they say well one to two bottles. I said can you shower the outside of your body in one to two bottles of water? And they look like I'm crazy. So let me ask you, can you shower with the amount of water you drink? You have more cells inside your body than you do on the outside. So think of water as a cellular shower on the inside."
