"Hi, I'm Dr. Michael Walker from Hill Country Facial Plastic Surgery Center and on behalf of Expert Village we'll be talking about S-lifts today. What's the recovery period? A week at the most the stitches come out in about seven days. Although I've had patients go back to work at desk within four or five days. They can usually have the incision with a hairdo that just covers their ear. Because the incision is just basically at the sideburn, around the little knob in front of the ear and it goes in the crease behind the ear. It's usually covered up by wearing the hair in an appropriate fashion to hide that. What's the average cost of an S-lift? The S-lifts run around seven or eight thousand dollars in contrast to the typical face lift which runs probably eleven or twelve. So they're somewhere around half the cost of the face lift, a full face lift."
