"Hi, I'm Dr. Michael Walker from Hill Country Plastic Surgery Center, and I'm here today on behalf of Expert Village to talk to you about rhinoplasties, or nose jobs. How long do the benefits last? Well, rhinoplasties are usually permanent, last for decades and decades, usually a life-long result. Who can perform such a procedure? Well, most rhinoplasties are performed by otolaryngologist--ear, nose, and throat specialists--and general plastic surgeons. Both are trained in fixing internal structures of the nose as well as the external structures. Where does one get this procedure done, outpatient or inpatient? I'd say 95 percent of rhinoplasties are performed on an outpatient basis, either in the cosmetic or plastic surgeon's office, an ambulatory surgery center, or as an outpatient in a hospital."
