"Hello, welcome. We are raw food doctors Rick and Karen Dina. We specialize in teaching the benefits of whole natural plant food nutrition from a raw food perspective. We're here today to talk to you about what is a Vegan diet. So I mentioned earlier that leafy greens are very healthy for you. But I'd like to tell you that there are many different types of dishes that you can make and today I'm going to make one that is called a green smoothie. So as you can see, I have a few different things here that I'm going to put into this smoothie. I have some kale right down here and then I have two large bananas cut in half. I have some fresh squeezed orange juice. And I have some water. And then down here, I have about a cup and a half of frozen mangoes. Now for a smoothie, there's a lot of different things that you can do with it which allows you to be more creative. So really, you can make a variety of different smoothies based on what your tastes are. You can add other different types of fruits as well such as strawberries, or any other type of berry or really any other type of fruit. Really the sky is the limit for deciding what you would like to do. But for this recipe, what I'm going to do is add to my blender carafe here, one cup of our fresh squeezed orange juice. So I'm going to turn this on."
