Hi my name is Dr. Steve Minors of Rehab Effects in Austin, Texas. Today we will be discussing kids and chiropractics. An annual spinal check up can be the most important event in your child's life. From the birthing process to the various bumps and bruises during child's play, your child's back may require care. This is where I come in. Also children today are receiving more chiropractic care than ever for various issues that may be related to the immune system. Also as far as safety is concerned a study done in Boston showed that approximately 420,000 children receive spinal manipulation. If we look at that and were to extrapolate that throughout the United States of American as well as Canada that means that there are several million chiropractic visits made by children on an annual basis with no reports of morbidity or mortality.
