Hi my name is Dr. Steve Minors, from Rehab FX, in Austin, Texas. And today we are going to be talking about the applications of wrist, non-surgical decompression. Here we have the patient who is set up with her elbow strapped in. She's at approximately a ninety degree angle, which is very important. Then we strapped the wrist in with the palm faced up. And she is from there connected to the machine. We set the machine up for about ten pounds of pull. Thirty seconds of pull each time for about twelve minutes with a little bit of rest in between. And we are going to go ahead and get her started. As you can see there is retractioning the wrist. Indicated here for wrist injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome. This can be quite effective.
