Hi, my name is doctor Steve Minors of Rehab Effects in Austin, Texas and I want to tell you a little bit about myself and about some of the things that we're going to be discussing and covering today. I'm originally from New York City and I've been practicing here in Austin for a little over 11 years. My practice is composed of everyday people, weekend athletes, weekend warriors to professional athletes. We see a variety of things as far as injuries, anywhere from spine, neck, mid-back, low-back to hip, knee, foot, ankle, wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder. We see a great deal here of complaints and injuries. And we go about them traditional and sometimes unorthodox ways to get the best result for the patient and to get them to recover as quickly as possible. Over the years, I have been in several courses and that's allowed me to learn quite a bit such as cold laser therapy, cellular bio-cleanse, non-surgical spinal decompression, McKenzie technique. So, there's been quite a bit that I've done to better serve my patients. A little more background about me, I attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated about twenty years ago. I attended Texas Chiropractic College, graduated from there where I performed surgical rotations in orthopedic and neurosurgical surgery or neurological surgery. I then did externships in nutrition as well as a multi-disciplinary clinic that was composed of orthopedic surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapy as well as chiropractic. So, I feel like I bring quite bit of knowledge and experience to the patient when they present with various conditions and we can look at it in a number of ways and see what's in the patient's best interest as far as them getting better and returning to their sport of choice, or back to work or resuming their normal activities of daily living.
