"My name is Dr. Susan Jewell. Now, in this clip we're going to talk about what to expect when you go to get a prostate examination or a DRE, which stands for a digital rectal exam. In this clip we're going to do a quick reenactment of a patient going to see his doctor and exactly what the process and the stages, what's expected of him, what the doctor is going to do. So, we're going to do this reenactment of the patient greeting the doctor. Dr Jewell: Well, hello there, hi, I'm doctor Jewell, and you're name? Eddie: Nice to meet you Dr. Jewell. Dr. Jewell: And your name? Eddie: Eddie Valenzuela. Dr. Jewell: Ok, Valenzuela. So, did the nurse tell you exactly what the prostate exams about? Eddie: Yeah. Dr. Jewell: And, so you didn't eat any food and you've already passed bowel movement. Eddie: Yeah. Dr. Jewell: And what do you have here for me? Eddie: It's a urine sample, they said you needed. Dr. Jewell: Oh, great that's wonderful, so you have your own sample and didn't eat. So, now you know that it's not painful if you relax and don't be anxious about it. I've done a lot of this before so, it's going to be really quick and painless. So, what I need you to do is to climb onto the examination table for me. Yes please, disrobe and then just get on to the examination table and that would be wonderful and we'll get on with the examination. Great, thank you. Are you ok? Eddie: Yeah. Dr. Jewell: All right."
