"Hello. In this clip we're going to talk about the differentiation of testicular tumors. In fact, how we can end up with the different types of testicular cancers. Now in this diagram I've drawn for you I've given you a sort of flow chart of how these different types of testicular cancers form. Now the histogenesis of testicular tumors. Most tumors start, testicular cancer, starts off as a totipotent germ cell. This is the very embryonic stage of a cell that's been preprogrammed genetically to develop into a testicular cell. So it's starts off as a germ cell which has all this potential to develop into all these different kinds of tumors if it's been stimulated by particular factors in environment or in the body. So, it starts with a germ cell. Now one of the most common types of testicular cancer is call seminoma. This is a common type of cancer that we diagnose in patients with testicular cancer. So it can develop into seminoma or from this germ cell it can develop into embryonal carcinoma and this particular type can also then differentiate into choreocarcinoma of teratoma. Now another one is the germ cell can just directly differentiate or develop into a teratoma or a yolk sac tumor. These are just a very simple diagram. This is just a simple diagram to show you all the different, various types of testicular cancer and tumors that you can find."
