"Hello, my name is Dr. Susan Jewell and in this clip we're going to talk about the male reproductive system and its anatomy of the testicle. Now, here's this diagram here we have of the male reproductive system and as you can see here, here is the testicle, you have a pair of testicle, sitting in a scrotal sack and here we have the penis gland and here, just to orientate you, this is the bladder. Now, let's go over here, you can see a diagrammatic cross section of the male reproductive system. Now let's orientate ourselves again, here is the testicle, sitting in the scrotal sack, which is the yellow color area and here the testicle is connected to the bladder by this duct here called the vas deferens and the efferent duct and here it transverses out where the semen is ejaculated out of the penis gland. And here is the bladder itself and the prostate gland here. Now, what's the anatomy of the testicle made up of? Let's go down to this diagram here. Now this diagram is a picture of a cross section, sectional cut of one testicle. Now look closely at the testicle, you can see that it's made up of all these separate compartments or lobules. Now look closely, you can see that each compartment has all these long conciliated tube and this is where the semen is made, in these tubes. And the semen is made here and collects in the central portion of the testicle, which then moves down these ducts here and form one duct called the vas deferens. And then this joins to the penis gland and then the semen is ejaculated out of the penis. So, this is the anatomy of the testicle."
