"Hello, my name is Dr. Susan Jewell and on behalf of Expert Village today, I'm going to talk to you about hemorrhoids. Now in this clip I'm going to talk to you about one of the ways to alleviate some of the pains from hemorrhoids. Now, it's called zitz spa. So zitz if you don't know is spelled like this, zitz. Zitz spa. What you do is you either can be in a bathtub or you can actually get a tub of water, so get a big tub that is portable if you don't want to go into the big bathtub. Then you just fill it up about half a foot of warm water and you can put in salts, table salt or what they recommend is Epsom salt, which you can buy from a local drug store or health food store. Then this is warm or cold but preferably warm and then what you do is that you just put your bottom in there, but what you do is you put your feet, you have to put your feet, your leg at right angles at forty five degrees so your sitting. You're not actually, your bottom is not actually sitting on the bottom it is raised a couple of inches from the bottom of the bowl. You sit in there for about ten, twenty minutes and it actually helps relieve the pressure and the pain from the hemorrhoids. Now, in the next clip I will show you actually how to do a zitz spa."
