"Hello, my name is Dr. Susan Jewell and on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to talk to you about cholesterol and in particular we are going to look at ways to reduce the amount of cholesterol that you are going to take into your body. Now here in this clip we are going to talk about certain ways of eating. In particular the kind of butter of margarine that you use in your body. Now it's actually better to use margarine than butter because margarine has less polysaturated oils in it and most margarine are made from plant sterols and plant sterols help absorb the LDL molecules from the body so you have less deposited into your arteries and I also recommend that you actually go into your supermarket and really look for the health because there are so many brands of margarine that you can buy. Here I'm showing you two brands and this one is margarine that contains calcium. So actually that's a benefit that now they're adding these extra minerals and vitamins into the margarine itself to make it healthier. However, I still think that you should really research and really buy brands that are even more smarter. Like for example here this is called the Smart Balance because it has less polysaturated fats in it and also it's just a lot more healthier it has all the extra ingredients like minerals, calcium and less salt. And so these are like for people who specifically have to be very careful on their diets if they have certain diseases and or so if they have very high cholesterol level. It's better to switch to a better brand of margarine. So go and do your research in the supermarkets and really find out you know one that you think is one that you can actually be happy with because obviously the taste factor is one the prime concerns when people pick whichever product. And now a days they make these very healthy brands a little bit more tastier. So that's my recommendation about how to pick smartly when it comes to eating margarine."
