"I'm demonstrating right now, a hypnotherapy session. This is another technique that I like to use to allow the client to go even deeper into the hypnotic state, it's a technique called, "Staircase". Now Suzy, I would like you to visualize or imagine you're standing at the top of a beautiful staircase with twenty steps going down. Each and every step takes you deeper. You notice that there is a very nice safe, secure handrail on the left-hand side. You can grab onto that anytime. You start moving down the stairs now. Twenty...nineteen...eighteen...seventeen... sixteen...fifteen...fourteen...thirteen...twelve... eleven...ten...nine...eight...seven...six...five... four...three...two...one. [snaps fingers] Deep sleep."
