"Several factors may increase a man's risk of getting breast cancer. Some of those factors have been strongly linked to breast cancer while others have a weaker link, but you should be aware of them nonetheless. Some of the stronger links for male breast cancer include getting older, having a family member who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, having your chest overly exposed to radiation, chronic liver disorders and of course the genetic predisposition of breast cancer which is being diagnosed with a Bracka one or a Bracka two genetic disorder. Other risk factors include breast hyperplasia which is the over production of cells in your breast tissue and any overexposure to estrogen. Estrogen has been strongly linked to some breast cancers causing breast cancer to grow at a more rapid pace. Obviously diet, proper nutrition as well as exercise and not smoking help to reduce your risk overall of breast cancer and any other disease. These are the risk factors associated to male breast cancer and are similar to those associated to female breast cancer. Men do get breast cancer as well, so it is important that you reduce your risk of contracting the disease wherever you can."
