"Spreading the message about the importance of early detection of breast cancer is important for both men and women. Both men and women are susceptible to breast cancer and as a matter of fact, the incidents rate of both male and female breast cancer diagnosis has increased every year since 1975. To help us become more breast aware we should perform a monthly breast self examination, to become more familiar with the way our breasts normally look and feel. This will enable us to detect an abnormality or change in breast tissue sooner rather than later.
