"Another great relaxation pose to relieve tension in the spine is with elevated legs. Gina is going to demonstrate this without a wall at this point so she is just going to lay on these blankets. She is just going to place her bottom right there and she is just going to lay back keeping her knees bent at this point. Good. We're going to make Gina's neck now if there is too much room right between the back and the ground then you just place a blanket right there. How does that feel? Is that good? Then we're going to roll this up under her neck so that her neck is supported and comfortable. Are we comfortable? Good. I'm going to ask Gina to lift her legs up to the sky and just let the hang there. What she is doing is relieving the pull of gravity which is always being pulled down into her feet all day long so she is reversing the flow of gravity, feeling the fluids, and if you think about it enough you can even feel those fluids come down the legs and pool in the lagoon of the belly and then spill off into her chest so this is really really good, not only for your back but also for your circulation."
