"One of the main things that would help a person who has OCD is to know that they're not alone and one of the easiest ways to do that is to find a support group. Support groups could be found on the Internet. They could be found by going through your local hospital, going through mental health providers. Check out your local area community centers, counseling centers, you could even go to the library and look up information. Online support groups could be helpful to those people who don't want to be around a lot of people and prefer little bit more privacy. It's also going to be helpful to family members who are dealing with a person who has OCD because as the primary support for that person, you yourself are going to need some support. So, there are support groups out there. One of the best website you could go to again would be www.ocfoundation.org as a site dedicated to individuals and family members who are dealing with OCD. They have a lot of those important resources."
