"Hi, my name is David with Expert Village and I’m going to show you how to adjust glasses. Now I’m going to show you how to adjust the temple on a drill mount also known as a rimless frame. Sometimes when your glasses are sitting crooked on your face you notice that the glasses need to be adjusted. By taking the glasses and turning them over and sitting them on a flat surface you’ll notice that the temple piece is sitting higher or lower on one side of the frame. By taking the glasses, on a drill mount frame be sure to how where the drill holes are, and adjust the frame by applying pressure directly on the temple piece either in an upward or downward direction. Always be careful, or always be sure that you apply enough pressure here to keep the frame from pulling out of bushings, which are plastic pieces here, which hold the frame together. Applying too much force on the frame itself without, without keeping these two compressed will pull the frame away from the lens and causing it to become too loose and fall apart. And that is how you adjust the temple on a drill mount frame. "

on 7/28/2009 My glasses have become too loose at the bushings. Is there any way to tighten them myself, or do I need to go back to the optician? Thanks!
