"Hi my name is Davina this is my model Kristen. In this clip I will demonstrate how to properly push the cuticle back. When pushing the cuticle back you can use a design cuticle pusher or a orange wood stick. It is all in your personal preference. I personally prefer to push cause it is a lot easier to get the cuticle back. Remove the foot from the basin. Drying it off, starting at the big toe, pushing the sides of the cuticle down towards the foot. By pushing the cuticle back it cleans the toenail and it gives it a nice clean slate. Moving on to the next toe repeat. Making sure not to push to hard cause you might hurt your client. Repeat on the next foot. Again drying it off and starting at the big toe. Keeping it nice and round and finishing up the pinkie. That is how you properly push your cuticle back."
