"The next stretching exercise we are going to take a look at is the upper trapezius. Now we are going to take a look at the upper trap. It is a muscle that runs along here and into this area. It is a muscle that causes a lot of problems with people. You always have pain up here in the trapezius area. Now we are going to take a look at how to stretch it. But it is always first important to make sure you have your proper positioning. You do not want to be slouched over as the patient is here. You want to be more back up in your position. Now with your right hand what you are going to want to do is come up over and grab onto the left side of your head here. Now you are going to want to bring this ear down to your right shoulder. While doing that you are going to kind of want to look down and to the left too and then pull. Once you get going at this you can add a little level of difficulty by putting your left hand, turn it palm up and place it underneath your right thigh just to add a little bit more stretch and a little bit more traction in this area. So you are going to come in, bring your head down and then turn the head as you go. Now you have a real solid stretch coming from both ends from the trap. We just took a look at the upper trapezius also known as the upper trap. Now we are going to move on to the next stretching exercise."
