"In the next clip, we are going to be taking a look at the back twist. This is going to stretch the low back muscles. Now we are going to take a look at the back twist. What we are going to have to do is either lie on your back on the floor on a bench. From there, you are going to have your arms stretched out to the sides. Now you are going to bend your knees in that 90-90 position, where your feet are flat on the ground. And then from there you are going to want to bring your knees to your chest, without using your hands. You are going to want to keep your knees together. And as you do this, what you are going to do is you are going to breathe in. And then now as you exhale, slowly lower knees while keeping the knees together, to the floor on the right side. Or as close to the floor as is comfortable. You are going to pause as you slowly return your knees to your chest. Now you can exhale again and slowly lower your knees to the left side. Inhale as you return your knees to your chest. Then you are going to want to repeat this about five times. A common mistake, which our patient just did, is to bring the knees lower like this. You don't want to do that. You want to keep your knees bent to the chest as we originally said and then from there come to the side, and then you will feel the stretch in the low back. And then as you inhale, you come back while keeping your knees bent. And then you come to the other side, just like that. And then inhale again and come back to the center. Now you are going to want to repeat this five times and eventually you are going to want to get up to fifteen reps."
