"Now we?re going to show you the cat exercise. The cat is a core stretching exercise for the lower back muscles. Now were going to show you how to perform the cat exercise. What you?re going to want to do is begin on all fours. It's very important to make sure your hands are directly under your shoulders and your knees directly under your hips. This is going to be your starting position. Now from here what you?re going to want to do is drop your tummy towards the floor and look up over your head as you inhale deeply. Now it's important to hold this position for a bit and now as you exhale your going to want to bring your tummy back up and your going to want to round you back as you tuck your chin and tuck your tail bone in. Now the idea is to move slowly back and fourth between these two positions, pausing on each pose. You?re going to want to repeat this five times. Now the trick with this is in the positioning, so as you?re coming up in the all fours position, it's real important to make sure you don't have your knees touching like this. So you want to be right underneath your hip sockets, so open just a tad. It's also real important you see to make sure your hands are right underneath the shoulders, so now were all lined up. That exercise you just saw was the cat, again your going to want to do this with five repetitions and eventually work your way up to fifteen."
