"In this clip we'll talk about breast imaging. At a certain age it?s very important for women to consider having their breast imaged as with a mammogram which is the most common form of breast imaging. Other options are ultrasound and now with mammography, there is digital mammography which is the latest generation which may be able to pick up more than a traditional mammogram. And then the later examinations are something called an M.R.I. or a magnetic resonance image. This is a very sophisticated examination that can be utilized to pick up very small areas in the breast that may have some disease. What we're talking about is we're talking about the possibility of picking up breast cancer. Clearly this is something that women that are under thirty or thirty five don't generally have to worry about unless there's a very strong family history. If someone is a very strong family history they should consider very early self examination and very early radiographic examination in consultation with their OB/GYN or their family physician. This is something that would most definitely need to be discussed with the plastic surgeon in light of any changes that may occur from surgery."
