"ALEXSON ROY: So what we're going to focus on now is what not to do. Don't do this please, okay? What you do not want to do when you have carpal tunnel is this thing. This wrist-action thing where you're really trying to pop your wrist or pull down on your wrist, and also what you do not want to do is any type of circular motion, okay? Because all you're going to do is aggravate it even more. If you aggravate it, it's going to really, really bother you, okay? And then the braces are good, okay, to restrict your motion but they do nothing to help with, I guess, the healing process except for taking the attention away from any type of movement, okay? And then eventually with time, you'll heal. But then in time, you'll come right back to the same issue of carpal tunnel problems. So what you want to do is you want to try your best to relieve those muscles that we kinda talked about earlier with massage, with anything, massage, with maybe warming them up, with applying pressure to them, heating them sometimes to create that blood flow, maybe squeezing a ball. Just anything you can to relieve that tension and swelling within your wrist."
