As we talked about earlier energy metabolism is provided by protein carbohydrates and fats. However that other nutrient some of the vitamins, minerals are more supporting nutrients and work with the protein, carbohydrates and fats when energy is created. These were the supporting vitamins that we discussed earlier and the majority of these are found from all foods and in the food guide pyramid. A lot of the vitamins that are supported in energy metabolism are actually from a lot of the meats and protein sources such as the beans, lagoons, nuts and seeds. However speratically if you look over this list such as Vitamin C you're going to find Vitamin really high in oranges. We all know that but also broccoli is very high in Vitamin C and kiwi so making sure getting your variety of fruits and vegetables are going to provide you with that. Folic Acid is very high in a lot of the beans so making sure again that you're mixing up those proteins sources and getting a variety of different foods. Riboflavin is found in milk so as you can looking at these vitamins and talking about the different foods from the good guide pyramid it's really important that we're getting a variety. Also I didn't mention grains but most of these B Vitamins are also found in whole grains. So again it's really important to get that variety.
