"There is sometimes a misconception that if you take a vitamin or get the right amount of vitamins and minerals that you will have more energy. Because those nutrients are producing energy, that is not necessarily the truth. Vitamins and minerals are actually supporting nutrients. They are helping the metabolism of the proteins, carbohydrates and the fats. Therefore making metabolism being more efficient so they are beneficial but they are not creating the energy. So the main vitamins and minerals that are responsible to support the energy metabolism are Vitamin C, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Riboflavin, Thiamin, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Chromium, Iodine, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Phosphorus. These starting at Calcium are the minerals and starting here from the B6 all the way back up to Vitamin C are the vitamins. These are the main ones that are supporting energy metabolism."
