Video Transcript

"On behalf of Expert Village I’m going to show you how to collect your sample for you hepatitis C blood test. We’re going to open our box and set aside the prepaid postage box that it comes in, save that for later. And then we fold this over and make sure we don’t touch the filter that is underneath, we fold the yellow portion over and this is ours to keep, and this we want to hold on to because this is how we’re going to get our test results back in a while. Set that aside. It is really important you must completely fill the circle of blood, this entire circle. And then we’re going to fill this out, this is the month – the day – and the year, making sure we don’t touch this filter the whole time. And whatever you do don’t touch the inside of the circle. We remove the packaging from this inside; unzip the whole packaging where we find a gauze pack, a band aid, an alcohol prep pad and two lancets just in case one doesn’t work or in case you don’t get enough blood from the first sample.
