Video Transcript

"On behalf of Expert Village I would like to show you how to clean your surface to prepare for doing Hepatitis C test. It’s really important to clean your surface because you may or not be doing your test in a situation that has already put you at risk for Hepatitis C. so when doing a test it’s important to clean off your area just eliminating any bacteria or possible exposure to Hepatitis C itself. So I recommend using anything with an antibacterial in it and if you don’t have any access to any bleach or anything like that, a simple damp washcloth will do. Just clean your surrounding area and make sure you wash your hands before you start. It doesn’t hurt to get the whole area just because you are eliminating any potential risk you have exposing your test to something that might mess it up. So feel free to wash the whole area that you’re around, plus it looks nice and clean for your table. "
