"Hi! I'm Brenda F. Dixon. I'm a licensed clinical social worker in Nashville, Tennessee, and we're here today with Expert Village. I wanted to give you some ideas that go with the topic that we have today, how to overcome or how to deal with anxiety disorder. I wanted to give you some ideas on what kind of questions you might ask a doctor when you go to him. I have a list here. This might be helpful. You can ask the doctor first what type of anxiety disorder do you have. Ask him what are the side effects of the prescribing medication that he might be giving. You might ask how long will it take before the medicine begins to get into your system. You might ask how long do you take the medication. Do you stop at a certain time? Then you might also ask your physician does the medication interact with other medications of supplements that I'm taking. There are many clients that some to me and they say what do I say to my physician. That's the purpose of these questions. I have more for the next time we're together."
