"All right, now let's practice a little bit. I'll say the word standard American, followed by New York. Perfect, "poifect". Flirt, "floit". Curve, "coive". Shirt, "shoit". Thirsty, "thoisty". Search, "soich". Now let's try some sentences. "Soich the whole woild, you won't find the poifect coive." Now, it should sound standard America, "Search the whole world, you won't find a perfect curve." Now we've got a lot of words in here that we're turning into "oi", "Soich the whole woild, you won't find a poifect coive." Very good!"
