"TRAVIS JOHNS: Hi. I'm Travis Johns with Expert Village, and I'm going to be talking to you about prioritizing projects in your home video post-production studio. Obviously, a lot of factors are going to come into play when you are figuring out which projects are going to come first. Sometimes, the project that's bringing you the most money will take your full attention at the beginning, but you have to make sure that you're not overlooking other clients because of the big project, because they need to feel like, obviously, they're number one in your book. Maintaining constant communication with separate clients at once is very important because they need to feel like you've got their best interest in mind at all times. When you're prioritizing, you should also consider the fact that while you're doing one thing, you could be doing something else for another project, thereby increasing your productivity and minimizing the amount of time that you're spending at your desk. Sometimes, you could be rendering a graphic for one project while working on notes for an upcoming project, making sure that you're going to make all your deadlines that you promised your client at the beginning."
