Video Transcript

" My name is Wayne Phelps. I’m a professional magician, and this is expertvillage.com. What I’m going to show you is how to do is called a pinch drop. It’s a variant of the French drop. It’s a good idea to have a couple of different variations to vanishes in your arsenal; that way if somebody’s birding your hands, you can switch up and throw them off the track. This is what it looks like. Borrow a coin or use the one that you have, hold it in your fingertips, come up behind it, take it in your hand, bring it to your mouth and blow. The coin is now vanished. Just like the French drop, the coin never leaves the left hand. You hold it in the finger pinched positions just like this. As you come up in front of the coin with your right hand take it and pull it away. What you secretly do is you just secretly drop the coin into a finger palm position. My right hand closes in and acts like it has a coin. My left hand turns over and drops to my sides swings nonchalantly. Right hand is followed by your eyes, bring the coin to your mouth, blow and it’s gone. That’s a pinch drop. "
