"Now that you're familiar with the basic scale of the flute, the next step is to practice going in between any two notes. So that way you'll get your fingers used to all the different combinations. So for example you can go from the lowest note to some of the higher ones. Or you can go from little notes to middle notes. That last move was challenging because you're putting on all those fingers at once. It takes usually a few days to a few weeks for your fingers to get used to where the holes are on your flute, but it really not more than that and it'll become a second nature quickly. So then the higher notes going between any two notes as I said and with the higher ones."
