Notice, as I am playing those long notes with Vibrato playing them louder and softer it gives your muscles kind of different parameters of producing vibrato at differernt breath pressures so you try different notes, different parts of the scale (plays flute to demonstrate). One of the things that's actually challenging is to be less vibrato and still have it audible (plays flute) alsways trying to keep it as even as possible it really takes alot of control to do that and you can try making faster and slower even quite faster (plays flute) as you stretch yourself in all these different directions you just have more in your basket of possiblities for stretch and do some playing and do some expression."
