"The example of the bass sound that I used for this song is a little, little bit more edgy than the one I played for your earlier because I felt that the way that I wanted this to sound in the end was that the drums would be, that the bass would kind of surround the drums. So that the bass, the bass would be very fat and very cutting. So I picked an edgier sound. That's going to be the building blocks for the track for "Oh, How Usual." So those are two examples of the bottom sounds. We're building a track from the bottom up in the example that I'm going to work with with you today that I selected to, that I think best conveys the sense of the song "Oh, How Usual." So in the next segment, we'll begin talking about how we're going to build the actual tracks based on the song."
