    Hi, a little misinformation here. You should never try to set the action by adjusting the truss rod. You set the neck relief,then tune,and any adjustments to the action should be made at the nut and saddle. Cranking away at the truss rod the way you illistrate will result in either a stripped truss rod or a snapped neck. These adjustments should be made gradually as the neck has become acustomed tto this shape. We aren't changing a tire here this is a delicate instrument.
