"I'm Melanie LaPatin and I'm Tony Meredith and we're co-owners of Dance Times Square Studios in NYC we're here to show you how to rumba. Another great step that you can use to not to only practice the technique that we just demonstrated before it's called the cucaracha. It's also you can offer the first time a different type of hand hold where you actually take two hands so she's in the palm of your hands. Now what we do is actually start just like we do with the very first step of the box we step forward towards the girl as she steps back slow. Then we take a side step as we pace ourselves back to the side and close our feet meanwhile doing a technique pulling the hips and enjoying the movement together. We go together side we place our way back to the center and we close our feet so quick quick slow, quick quick slow, notice how my body weight moves forward from each side of my body to create a 3 dimensional movement, and notice that he's leading me into the action that I'm following that's the cucaracha."
