"Hi! On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Melanie LaPatin and I'm Tony Meredith and we are co-owners of Dance Times Square Studio in New York City. We are here to show you how to Rumba. So I am just going to embellish a little bit about the Rumba. It is as Tony said a social dance and you could do this at nightclubs, parties, at corporate events but I do want to say that it is a very sensual dance so we really get to use our middle section and our center quite a bit. There is one knee bent and one knee straight which you really want to try to do is not go up and down. You want to stay very low, very low. So while you are doing the Rumba, the whole time you want to stay about 2 inches lower than you normally stand. You want to just drop your weight and you want to stay heavy and rather down into the floor. So the action is step, settle, step settle. You want to use your back and your sides and your hips and it is a very round action. It is called Cuban motion. "
