"Hi I'm Tony Newton for Expert Village and we're going to talk about musicians on the road traveling to other countries and currency exchange. Ok, We all need our money to spend and we want to spend it when we want to spend it but what you're going to run into if your in another country is the currency exchange. Now the main thing to keep in mind here is that you don't want to wait until the last minute to do your currency exchange at the airport because the airport currency exchange rates are the highest, not the lowest, so if you take enough money with you to get you by, that's if you're going to another country like germany or japan or something where you need to exchange the currency, then try to find a bank. You can even go to a hotel. Some hotels its going to be a better rate than the one that's at the airport or where you're staying in that city , more than likely there will be a close by bank and that is the best place for you to do your currency exchange. I once had a promoter pay me at the last minute from the currency exchange at the airport and he was the one losing money because he waited until the last minute. Keep this in mind, you can actually lose money if you use the wrong currency exchange rate at the wrong place. "
