"Hi, I'm Tony Newton from expert village. We're talking about slap bass today. We're going to add some more rhythms to our basic thumb pattern. We just finished this with some muting. So now i'm going to play different rhythms like quarter notes, eighth notes, sixteenths, etc. For different types of music. Let's say you're doing some rock. (Plays Music). Okay, let's do some shuffleing. (Plays Music). Okay now we'll do some motown (let's say). (Plays Music). Alright, so maybe some Hip Hop (plays music). Now all of that has to do with the thumb. Just using the thumb only. We'll move onto the next session, and we'll add some other notes and some other fingers."
