"How to Write Screenplay Scene Headings Hello. My name is Tony Ramirez from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, this is "How to Write a Screenplay". Let's get started. The scene headings in caption. So we already have our fade in, which will be the first thing we have on our script. The next thing we want to do is actually start off the script--where we are, what time it is--things like that. So in this example, I'm going to act like I'm writing a script about what we're doing right now with this video. So I'm going to say--and this is all in caps--INT.-- in this screen writing software, if you see initials, things like that, that are actually going to be used a lot, it'll actually give you the word. So you go ahead and press enter, so I-N-T. is INTERIOR of course. So INTERIOR, and I'm going to say "Inside of my studio". So INTERIOR: STUDIO, and it is DAYTIME. And just like that we have our first scene. So, as if I was writing the movie, we have INTERIOR: STUDIO and the time of day is DAYTIME. This is your scene heading. "
