"Welcome to Expert Village I'm Steve Blank audio and video engineer for Mind Food Productions here to show you how we can record with electronic drums. Even though I'm happy for the most part of vocal tracks its dry there's no effect on it so let's add an effect, it's V2 it's the second vocal track. This one has nice presets so I'm going to go with this short and sweet preset now we can change this output to stereo it gives it a little bit more fullness. So we can hear it a little bit better I'll solo this track (singing) and lets save that, now the type of recording we're doing is always going to effect how you mix it and in this particular case your going to know this is drumming. I really want the vocals to be the loudest now the best way I know to find out what's the loudest is to play back the audio very quietly. I can pull up my volume control bring this down let's listen (playing) I readjusted the levels on these three tracks trying to get literally trying to get the most out of the mix. I bring the volume all the way down and mix it from there and now I've raised it up to the listening level and this is what it sounds like. (playing) "
