Video Transcript

"Welcome to Expert Village I'm Steve Blank audio and video engineer for Mind Food Productions here to show you how we can record with electronic drums. I played all the tracks pretty much one time through knowing that I could cut and paste later and knowing that I was going to show that in this video series. Here I missed the first down beat of the song here's the intro and as the song starts I'm not playing it right. But this phrase repeats itself throughout the song so the second time I played it just fine this portion this piece that I'm talking about is tracks one and two. The drums and the midi drums a signal that came from the laptop computer the second phrase identified by this dark area, this is the first phrase by control Z, see I was able to clear that spot so there was no sound. Since I've used click track the timing is proper and I went and found the next phrase and I identified that by telling the software which piece I'm looking at. And which tracks do I want and then doing a copy and paste right click, copy, right click again and paste, but in this case since I've already did that I can just really do the paste. And now the beginning sounds like this (playing)"
