"Welcome to Expert Village I'm Steve Blank audio and video engineer for Mind Food Productions here to show you how we can record with electronic drums. We'll mix the tracks I've transfered the files from the other computer to this better computer so that we can see it better for one thing, and move faster cause it's a much faster computer. Let's just start at the top see tracks one and two the click and the scratch vocal these two tracks we no longer need and I have a copy on the other computer. If I were ever to need it them so I'm going to click and then control click and then right click and delete tracks and I'm going to save it. Let's stretch out the audio so that we can see it better it's a great thing about digital recording software so that you can see audio, well I have adjusted the view so that we can see what we need to see. And now I've named all the tracks that we had the drums, the midi drums, the 2 vocal tracks, the first one is muted what I'm calling tambourine, conga, and times these were the percussion over dumps I did. I've arrange the tracks to size so that we can see our volumes I've already brought the original drum sounds down, they we're the loudest and I brought the vocal track up that's minus 9.9DB that's plus 60DB and everything else is just as it was recorded."
