"Okay now that we've talked about hop and jump and the difference between hop and jump the next thing I want to clarify is the difference between step and stomp. Now a step is basically on the ball of your foot the heel never comes down and it's just a step that you put weight on, so after putting your weight on your right foot assuming you started on your right and you want to step back and forth, left and right, your heels will never touch the ground. So this is just a step just like this, like your marching but on the balls of your feet. Now the difference between that and a stomp is that the stomp uses both the ball of the tap shoe and the heel like that and it's quit loud. And you can either do that and pick your foot up afterward or you can put weight on it so when somebody says stomp it's both the ball and the heel. So rotating feet ball and the heel very loud so remember this is step and this is stomp."
